My Story
When I was young I fell in love with Wonder.
I found wonder in the stories my father would tell, wonder in the music parties Mom would spontaneously create during car rides and wonder in the sweet moments where my Tutu (Grandma) would pull me out onto the dance floor just for the joy of it! These adventures inspired me to take risks, to create and to train. My story began in Madison WI, but since falling in love with creating and the wonder and art of storytelling I have since trained in theatre, cabaret, voice and dance with Capitol City Theatre’s “Find Your Light” program, with Madison’s Overture Center, with the University of Northwestern – St. Paul’s, Theatre and Dance program, as well as trained with Magnum Opus ballet company in Madison, WI and Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
Wonder in life’s adventures inspired me to take risks and dream big, but it was in life’s quieter moments too that wonder Surprised me. From the glow of the stars, to the vibrant colors of falling leaves to the warmth of home at Christmas time, I find a special wonder when I pause my adventuring and take time to Just Be present to life’s simpler moments. The wonders I find in the mysteries and magic of music, in the delight and depth of dance and in the vulnerability and strength of theatre have inspired me to find the most creative and compassionate way of sharing all of life’s wonders found not only in life’s wild adventures but also in the simple present. To create honest, daring and emotional art is one of the most beautiful ways we can point each other to our Creator and stimulate or souls to our fullest manifestation.
I graduate from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul this May with my Bachelors in Theatre and Minor in Dance.
